Since 1995, I worked for a crises hotline by the name of Common Ground Crises Center located in Michigan. There I was exposed to everything mental health and realized just how important it was for people to hear a calm voice on the other end of the phone and get the support they needed at that time. I worked there for three years and from there, I felt like I found my calling and pursued my educational journey in the helping field.
My education background consists of:
PsyD: Psychology
MA: Counseling
BS: Psychology
Associates: Mental health/social work
I also have an LLC at this time and currently working on full licensure.
My dissertation topic: A comparative study on the effects of Equine assisted psychotherapy in members of the military diagnosed with PTSD
