Thank you for taking the time to learn about what I do. My background is extensive.
I have over fifteen years of experience in behavioral health, counseling education, and personal development. I hold Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Doctorate in Psychology. I have worked extensively in the areas of substance use education, behavioral change, trauma, grief and loss and personal growth.
Previously, I held certification as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAAC) in the state of Michigan. Currently, I hold a coaching certificate and have a limited license (LLC). Most recently I joined NAMA which is a national recognized organization that provides the most updated information for clients seeking to get court approved classes.
Today, I provide life coaching designed to help individuals build practical skills for healthier decision-making, emotional regulation, communication, and personal accountability. New for May of 2026, I will be providing a NAMA certified Parenting class. My programs focus on education, insight, and behavioral tools that support positive life changes. With over seven years in working in the court system, I know the expectations of the legal system and the importance of providing structured, accountable programs that support meaningful behavioral change. I have experience working alongside professionals within the legal and social service systems and is familiar with the documentation and program structure often required by the courts. This includes working with representatives from the South Carolina Department of Social Services, attorneys, and members of the judiciary.
I believe that every person brings unique strengths to each session. My role is to work collaboratively with you to recognize and build on those strengths in a safe and supportive environment. I like to tell my clients that we all have a “healing toolbox”—and sometimes our toolbox feels low or even empty. My goal is to help you discover and replenish those tools, one stride at a time.
My approach is practical, respectful, and focused on helping individuals understand patterns of behavior while developing tools that support long-term change.
