The NAMA-Certified Parenting Education Program is a structured psychoeducational class designed to support parents and caregivers in developing effective, healthy parenting skills. This program focuses on building practical tools that promote positive family relationships, improve communication, and support long-term behavioral change. 

Facilitated by a certified instructor through the National Anger Management Association (NAMA), the NAMA Certified Parenting Class follows a structured curriculum that is widely recognized by courts, social service agencies, and referring professionals. The course is suitable for both self-referred participants and individuals completing court-ordered parenting requirements. 

Participants will engage in a supportive educational environment where they will learn how to better understand their child’s needs, manage stress and emotions, and apply effective parenting strategies in everyday situations, including virtual parenting classes.

Parenting in Recovery 

Leveraging over 15 years of specialized experience in substance use education and behavioral change, we offer a custom-designed psychoeducational track specifically for parents navigating recovery. This program bridges the gap between how drug abuse affects parenting and healthy parenting, providing parents with targeted strategies to break generational cycles, manage the unique stressors of parenting in recovery, and rebuild secure family attachments.

Pricing & Enrollment – NAMA Certified Parenting Classes

Strides for Empowerment offers structured, NAMA Certified Parenting Classes that support parents and caregivers in building positive family relationships, improving communication, and developing practical parenting skills. These parenting education programs are appropriate for both self-referred participants and those mandated by the court.

We provide affordable weekly payment options. Fees cover all class materials, participation tracking, written reports required for court or agency referrals, and your certificate of completion through NAMA.

Program Structure

- Sessions are held weekly and typically run for 8–12 weeks.

- Both group and individual formats are available depending on client needs and court requirements.

- Attendance and participation are monitored to ensure accountability.

Completion & Reporting

Upon successful completion of the program:

- Participants receive a Certificate of Completion.

- Progress reports are provided to referring professionals, including courts, attorneys, or social service agencies, as mandated.

PRICING

- Individual Parenting Sessions (50 minutes): $60

- Group Parenting Sessions (45 minutes): $40
